2011 was a fantastic year. I met some wonderful new clients and caught up with some return clients as well. I am so excited for what 2012 has in store. I think its going to be a great year! To get this year going a bit I thought I would host a giveaway.

When I set up the Nov mini session date I intended on fall pictures. However the weather had it’s own plans. We woke up to snow on the ground and the temps were pretty darn low. I was so impressed with how every single family that was lined up was still more than willing to meet up and we managed to get some great pictures (some of which were done in record time due to freezing children).

It was so hard to narrow down my sneak peak choices.

5 beautiful families that were all so wonderful to work with. Thank you everyone for an enjoyable saturday even if we all froze.

While I watched the weather report for the weekend I must admit I was a little worried. Saturday came around and though we did have some clouds.. and yes even a little rain for the evening session.. It turned out to be a beautiful day with wonderful lighting to highlight the fantastic fall colors of our location.

I enjoyed both of these wonderful families. It seemed more like I was taking a walk with friends. I have such wonderful clients!

I was honored to photograph the Tucker family again this year. Luke has grown up so much. It really is so fun to get the chance to see him grow up. I was also very pleasantly surprised to hear the news that the Tucker family is expecting not 1 but 2 new additions to their family. I hope to get the chance to watch them grow up as well.

Later that evening I joined the Cochran family. Another beautiful family. We got pretty lucky and had some beautiful sunshine..we also got rained on a bit..All along their sweet little man was giving the biggest smiles. I have to be honest because my 12 yr old daughter was getting all the smiles from him. I had to keep moving her behind me..he just thought she was the silliest thing ever.

Thank you to both families for allowing me the honor of capturing memories for your families.

Isn’t he just the cutest little thing! I enjoyed this session so much. Riley’s mama Jessica has been a part of my family for a very long time. Heck.. I think Jess was just a few years older than Riley when I met her. It is such a joy to watch this little man grow up and even a bigger joy seeing what a wonderful mama Jessica is.

I was trying to narrow down 1 location that would work for my Missoula clients and my Bitterroot clients. Well I figured I would set up 2 dates.. 2 locations and everyone can pick which they prefer. Here are the dates and locations.

Sat. Oct 22nd -Lee Metcalf wildlife refuge(walk path) Stevensville, MT
morning groups..first session at 8-11 am..and evening groups..3-7 pm.

Sat. Nov 5th- Greenough Park, Missoula, MT
Evening groups only 2-6 pm

These are 2 of my fav areas for session.. both of which get beautiful fall colors. Times are going to be first come first serve.

Sweet Cydnee was almost a month old.. she spent much of the time very alert but did her fair share of sleepy poses as well. Such a beautiful blessing!

It was very different for me to work with someone that I wasn’t having to chase around. I had such a great time with Michaila that the hours got away from us and before we knew it we had lost our light.

Just a “little” sneak peak of my twinks 3 yr photo session. I can not believe they are 3 already… seems like just yesterday we were juggling the feeding and caring for of 2 newborns.. and now.. well.. now they just run circles around me.

Our babies.. the very first time they got to be back together since they were born. 4 weeks old.

And now

oh..and note to myself.. never try to take 3 yr old twins pictures without having a helper around.. haha

I can tell you that Lucy Lu made me work for these images.. but..I am afraid you wouldn’t believe me.. Look at how fantastically beautiful this sweet baby girl is! Every little bit of work was totally worth it.
